So after you ignore the fact that this picture is taken on top of my down comforter...you can move on to the story behind it.  I was contacted by this sweet woman, Riki, about making a canvas for a dear friend of hers.  She wanted me to make a canvas for the family of a boy who had passed away at three weeks old.  November 27th was the year anniversary of his passing, and Riki wanted something special to give the family to celebrate Gabe's life.  This verse is the couples' favorite verse, and I was honored to be a part of such a special gift!

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

So I LOVE Christmas and all the comes with it! I am one of those people who was THRILLED to see Christmas decorations out in July at Hobby Lobby! I tend to start decorating in October, so naturally I have already started on some of my Christmas pieces for this year. The possibilities are endless! Monogram Canvases

These letters were made for my brother's girlfriend, Megan. They were created to go with the "theme" of her dormroom--pink and brown. Her room is absolutely adorable, and I only wish I would have been that creative back in the day! I will post more pictures soon of the letters actually in her room.

These monograms would make a GREAT gift for any tween, teen, or college student! Letters can me customized to match any theme or bedding.

**UPDATE--I am LOVING these teacher signs! I think the thing I love the most about them is that every single one is different and really showcases each teacher's personality.

June, July, and August!!! I had a parent give me a sign that said that one year. Still makes me laugh! It's that time of year again though for all of us teachers to start thinking about getting back to our "real world." I love all things personalized, and I love decorating my classroom, so it's only natural that I would have something for teachers to personalize and bring some fun to their class!

So I decided it was time for a new look and found this precious background. It's going to take me a few days to make everything back to normal, but the "new look" should be finished soon!

Wedding Season

So as we are now in June, I feel like wedding season has officially begun! These canvases were made for two couples' kitchens. It's been fun making these canvases and remembering the days of registering and decorating a new home! For those of you who know me, you know I'm wedding obsessed, so wedding gifts are a personal favorite of mine to make!
